Contribution to Prezi
As our case study was Slumdog Millionaire, my part/contribution towards our prezi was the production side of the film. I found out information about where the storyline came from and how the original storyline developed. From my research I found out that an Indian writer created the manuscript which was then passed on to channel 4 through an executive producer. This manuscript came a long way considering it ended it up being a huge it in the British film industry through production companies such as: Celador Films, Film 4 and Pathe Pictures International.
When putting all different parts of the film research together, the prezi ended up a success. I think most things went well considering everyone in our group contributed with different information, and we each had equal times to share our information to the class. Also, all of us added different videos, trailers; posters and pictures to the prezi which helped us all know how the film was marketed. Aspects which didn’t go quite as well would be that we would of rather video ourselves speaking, as we felt it would’ve worked better than prezi and also because every other group also used prezi. Also another thing which didn’t go too well was that on the day we weren’t quite prepared and hadn’t printed out our speaking parts, therefore had to read off the bored in certain areas.
